The Iveco New Daily, the company’s latest light commercial vehicle, has achieved European orders totalling 11,000 vehicles – including particularly strong results in the chassis cab segment.
The good results confirm New Daily as Europe’s favourite vehicle amongst transport professionals. Even though the international launch took place in September 2011, the New Daily has already received an award, although not for its qualities but for its image. The European jury of Warner Bros chose Iveco as the company that achieved “Best Brand Association” with the use of the Superman logo and the DC Comics superhero icon in New Daily related communications.
The New Daily features a reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions compared to its predecessor. It is designed to meet the everyday logistical needs of operators in the light goods and passenger transport sectors.
An all-round light commercial vehicle, the New Daily operates with ease whether it is in city centers, inter-urban transportation and demanding off-road applications.
