Peugeot seems to be on top of the wave with its Frankfurt Motor Show presence and the French automaker has big plans to attract more new customers into its models by releasing new info, cars and concepts by the seconds.
After the French car manufacturer presented its latest 3008 Hybrid4, which will hit the dealerships this year, followed by the HX1 Concept with its spectacular exterior design, has decided to reveal its latest 508 RXH, and even if it’s not so new, Peugeot says it will be launched in a limited edition.
According to the French automaker, the 508 RXH Limited Edition features the same scheme as the two vehicles mentioned above which means an electric motor is powering it along with a diesel unit.
Peugeot says that the 508 RXH is delivering a total output of 200 PS (147 kW) and 450 Nm of torque (332 lb-ft) from its 2.0 liter HDi diesel engine, which is sending power to the front wheels, and the electric motor, which is “moving” the rear axle.
The new 508 RXH Limited Edition is bragging with an average fuel consumption of just 4.2 liters / 100 km (70.6 mpg) and fuel emissions of 109 g/km.
Peugeot says that its 508 RXH Limited Edition will be available in just 300 units, all with the same Calern Brown color, but its price hasn’t been announced yet.
