Kia has just introduced a new special edition of the Picanto, in the United Kingdom, which is adding a lot of standard “goodies”.
The new Kia Picanto Quantum Special Edition is only coming in a three-door body style and it’s offered in a Titanium Silver Metallic paint finish, riding on 15-inch alloy wheels. Some of the standard items found on it include the LED turn signals integrated into the adjustable and heated side mirrors, the automatic air conditioning, the smart key, front fog lights, automatic headlight control, electric sliding and tilting sunroof, a six-speaker sound system and much more.
Standard equipment also includes the Urban Pack, which is adding the UV solar windscreen, the LED ambient lighting, the illuminated side vanity mirror or the SuperVision instrument cluster. Power is being provided by a 1.25 liter gasoline engine, which is rated at 84 HP (63 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 120 Nm (88 lb-ft) of torque at 4,000 rpm. The unit is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission or to an optional 4-speed automatic. The 0 to 60 mph sprint takes 11 seconds and top speed stands at 106 mph (170 km/h). The average fuel consumption is 50.4 mpg UK and the CO2 emissions stop at 130 g/km.
