An upcoming impressive exotic vehicle called the SP-200 SIN has been previewed recently with the help of a couple of images.
In case the Koenigsegg One:1 is not really suiting your needs, if you are not interested in a second-hand Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, in a McLaren P1, Ferrari LaFerrari or Porsche 918 Spyder and you don’t even want to wait up for the upcoming Bugatti Chiron (Veyron’s replacement), than this is probably what the doctor has ordered for you are we are talking about the most powerful road-legal vehicle money will be able to buy in the future.
The model in question will be put together by an American company called PSC Motors and it will be named the SP-200 SIN. This will be nothing more than a plug-in hybrid supercar which will be making use of a 9.0 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine and an electric motor mounted at the rear. Thanks to this configuration, the total output produced will stand at 1,700 HP (1,268 kW), sent to the wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. If you are expecting a whopping 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint, we should tell you that the trip of hybrid supercars is faster than it.
The SP-200 SIN will need 2.8 seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill but in terms of top speed, it should shatter just about everything as it is expected to get passed the 450 km/h (280 mph) mark. The megacar will be weighing 1,400 kg and it will be standing in at 4.4 meters long, 2 meters wide and 1.1 meters tall. Its body will be made from carbon fiber composite and aluminum and only 35 units will be put together. The model should be launched this month (June) but it is believed to be offered for sale in 2016.
