1962 Corvette C5 expected to fetch $100,000

A classic 1962 Corvette C5 will be auctioned in a couple of weeks and the sports car is expected to fetch 100,000 USD before finding itself a new owner.

The Corvette C5 is probably one of the most iconic versions of the model, loved by collectors and bought by wealthy people and one of the hottest ones out there, a 1962, is currently looking for a new owner with the “help” of RM Auctions. The body shell of the vehicle has been reproduced in order to fit the V5 chassis and it was crafted on a five-axis milling machine. The result was exactly what you can see in the images posted below, a classic look with a modern interior and advanced equipment at which the original designers could only dreamed of.

The 1962 Corvette C5 in question has been finished in black with silver side coves and the interior is revealing black leather. Power to the classic sports car is being provided by the LS1 V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 350 horsepower, mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. Climate control, cruise control, power windows, disc brakes, power steering and stereo are some of the goodies which can be found on the model. The C5 will be auction on the 1st of December by RM Auctions.
