Volvo Hungaria Ltd. has closed a deal with the major Hungarian transport and logistics company Waberer’s International Inc. for 200 units of Volvo FH trucks.
The two companies have been cooperating for over 15 years, Waberer’s International being the biggest customer for Volvo Hungária Ltd. the vehicles, which feature efficient and low emission EEV engines, are to be delivered beginning from May 2012, over a period of 4 months.
“Traditionally about half of our fleet consisting of 2,500 vehicles are the reliable Volvo trucks, supporting our transportation activity to various destinations,” declared Mr György Wáberer, Chairman and CEO of Waberer’s International Inc., who sees the contract as “the natural continuation of the excellent co-operation” between the two companies.
Waberer’s International has chosen Volvo again due to its high quality, reliability, driving safety and low emissions offered by Volvo’s vehicles, as well as the services and support provided by the Volvo Truck organization.
