Since the Audi R8 V10 Extreme Challenge Edition was a big success, Stasis Engineering has moved on with a new project i.e. switched to the V8 model by offering it a similar advanced tuning package.

Apart from the power updates as well as aerodynamic modifications, this newly tuned V8 model will become more faster than what the standard R8 V10 is. The standard V8 engine in Audi R8 has received the  Eaton/Magnusson TVS 1900 supercharger that runs by offering a boost of 7.5 psi. Also, the tuning specialist added an independent cooler system.

In order to increase the power and making it call as a high performance car, the tuner has added a STaSIS ECU remap that helps to produce a whopping 540 horsepower and 435 lb.ft of torque. Due to this new output added by the STaSIS Engineering, the 2011 Audi R8 V8 Challenge Extreme can make a sprint of 0-60 mph in just 3.6 seconds. Besides, it can perform even faster (a tenth of a second) than what the standard R8 V10 delivers.

Due to the additional feature, 28 percent of power is been increased to enhance the performance of this car and to handle such power the tuner has also fixed a new brake system. Moreover, a new set of 20″ ultra-lightweight forged aluminum wheels are enfolded, that surround the high performance low profile tires.
