Chevrolet has released the first images of the production-ready Aveo 5-door model.
The new Chevrolet Aveo include the aggressive looking front with its exposed twin-headlamps and dual port grille, compact taut body panels with a rising shoulder line and short rear overhangs, the ‘hidden’ rear door handles which now feature in the c-pillar and a ‘body in, wheels out’ profile which is now very much part of the new Chevrolet design language.
No interior pictures have been released, but according to autocar, it will include a motorcycle-inspired instrument cluster, a wrap-around fascia and blue backlighting for the centre console. USB and Bluetooth connectivity will both be standard.
the new 1.3-litre diesel with two levels of output : 75 HP and 95 HP, and which will come mated with Start Stop technology will be available. On the petrol range the 2011 Chevrolet Aveo will use a 1.2-litre unit delivering 86 HP or a 100 HP 1.4-litre engine.
The new Aveo will go on sale in the UK in the autumn next year.
