Dodge is putting the ‘sport’ back into the sport utility (SUV) segment with the 2011 Dodge Durango. The 2011 Dodge Durango will start at $29, 195 for the Durango Express up to $41, 795 for the Durango Citadel.
The 2011 Dodge Durango comes with a choice between a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine and a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine.
Dodge says that Hemi-outfitted Durangos will be capable of towing 7,400 lbs., while V6 models will be rated at a still reasonable 6,200 lbs.
The interior was redesigned in the same style as the Grand Cherokee and Ram trucks. Expect a functional interior with soft-touch materials in all three rows, regardless of trim level.
Electronic stability control will be standard. Other safety features will include available blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-path detection, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control and keyless ignition.
