Another impressive package has been announced by Baldwin-Motion and Redline Motorsports for Chevrolet Camaro.
According to Joel Rosen, the legendary founder of Baldwin Motion,
“We have re-launched the Baldwin-Motion and MOTION brands again, this time capturing the true spirit of what we did in 1967-1974: Market built-to-order, dyno-proven and warranted SS & Phase III 427 & 454 Camaros, crafted by a high-tech dyno shop and available exclusively from a single authorized Chevrolet dealer.”
Currently, the most powerful Camaro you can buy straight from GM, the 6.2-liter starts at $33,945. However, if you can spend more then that, then Baldwin-Motion and Redline Motorsports is the answer for you.
The 2011 Motion Camaros are being offered in SS and Phase III trim, with a choice of GM’s LS7 427 (7.0-liter) V8 or the massive LSX 454 (7.4-liter) V8. The Motion SS-427 Camaro develops a dyno-tested 525 horsepower; the Motion SS-454 Camaro, 550 hp; the Motion Phase III 427 Camaro, 600 hp; and the Motion Phase III 454 Camaro, 625 hp. The top of the range is the Motion III 427-SC Camaro “supercar” – 800 hp. This one will cost $150,000, and was allready ordered. So if you want one you will have to wait.
