Acura has announced a new version of the TSX model, made to celebrate the company’s 25th anniversary and planned to be introduced at the Orange County International Auto Show.
As you can see from the pictures, the Special Edition TSX has a more aggressive front spoiler, a new rear bumper, unique side sills, the “Special Edition” badge on the trunklid and it’s sitting on 17×7.5-inch five-spoke aluminum wheels.
“The Acura TSX has long been known for its high-revving 4-cylinder engines and sporty driving nature. With the new Special Edition, the TSX becomes even more youthful and sporty in character, furthering its appeal to performance-minded buyers”, said the vice president of Acura sales, Jeff Conrad.
According to the automaker, the TSX Limited Edition is powered, just like the standard model, by the 2.4 liter four-cylinder unit, mated to a six-speed manual or a Sequential SportShift five-speed automatic transmission.
The Acura TSX Special Edition will be officially presented on September 22 at the Orange County International Auto Show and it will go on sale later that month.
