2012 BMW M3 Coupe Competition Limited Edition going to the US image

After the German based automaker has released a limited edition named Carbon Sport for the Netherlands which will be available in just 150 units, BMW has decided to promote the same generation of the vehicle which will arrive in the United States in the form of an M3 Coupe Competition Limited Edition.

According to BMW, the M3 Coupe Competition Limited Edition is taking its power from the popular 4.0 liter naturally-aspirated V8 which is developing a total output of 414 horsepower and with the M DCT double-clutch transmission helping, the vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.5 seconds.

The 2012 M3 Coupe Competition Limited Edition will be available on the over-seas auto market in just 40 units and the models will be available with the BMW Individual Frozen Silver Metallic coat, a dark chrome finish for the kidney grills, black finish for the hood-mounted air intakes and M side grills and exhaust tips.

In the cabin, BMW has “brought” the black Extended Nobillo Leather finish with palladium silver details for the seats, center console, door panels and other elements, while the steering wheel has been wrapped in Alcantara and the M3 logos can be seen on the door sills and carbon fiber trimming.
