The German based automaker BMW is planning to introduce the new generation of the M5 at the 2012 Indian Auto Expo.

According to autocarindia.com, the 2012 BMW M5 will be officially presented at the Indian Auto Expo next month. The new generation of the BMW M5 is promising to be one of the most exciting high performance vehicles on the Indian market next year.
As a reminder, the new generation of the BMW M5 is powered by a 4.4 liter V8 engine which is delivering 560 horsepower between 5.000 and 6.000 rpm, with a peak of 502 lb-ft of torque available from 1.500 rpm. The V8 comes with M TwinPower Turbo and it’s mated to a seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission Drivelogic with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. The 0 to 62 mph acceleration takes just 4.4 seconds while the 0 to 124 mph takes 13 seconds. The new M5 can hit a top speed of 155 mph or 190 mph with the M Driver’s Package.
