A 2012 Corvette sports car has been recently crashed into a Goldenrod Post Office in Florida after its 72-year old driver pushed the gas pedal instead of the brake.
Where ever there will be exotic cars there will also be exotic car crashes, this is what we’ve always said here on inautonews.com and the latest example to back up our statement is coming from over-seas, where a 2012 Corvette has stopped into a Post Office. According to the guys at corvetteblogger.com, the 72-year old driver of the yellow sports car, Ruth Lawyer, had tried to brake his ride but he confused the pedals and ended up crashing the vehicle into a Goldenrod Post Office.
Our source is also saying that the 2012 Corvette is a month old and after the incident, the post office has been shut down for a day, in order for the repairs on the building to be made. The Florida Highway Patrol ticketed the 72-year old driver for careless driving, but fortunately no one was injured in the incident, except for the brand new Corvette, which will now need a makeover. So next time when you decide to move to Florida after you retire you’d better leave driving for someone who can actually do it.
