The 2012 Dodge Challenger Rallye Redline will have a starting price of 28,745 USD once the model will be launched next month.
According to the North American based automaker, the 2012 Dodge Challenger Rallye Redline has been officially presented to the public at the Spring Festival of LXs, in Irvine, California, and the model will be launched in April. Dodge says that the 2012 Challenger Rallye Redline has been based on the Challenger SXT Plus and the special edition is coming with a full-length bod stripe, 20-inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, a sport-tunes suspension, new high-performance braking system and a revised rear axle.
“Infused with Dodge DNA, the new Challenger Rallye Redline adds even more excitement to our iconic muscle car, and to show our appreciation to our most hard-core enthusiasts, we revealed this new model at Spring Fest. With its unique Redline Red accented exterior details, available Radar Red leather, performance suspension and brakes, and 305 HP V6 with paddle shifters getting 27 mpg – this new Challenger fuses the nameplate’s iconic heritage with modern Dodge styling and performance”, said the president and CEO of Dodge Brand, Reid Bigland.
The special edition of the 2012 Dodge Challenger is powered by the company’s 3.6 liter V6 engine which is developing a total output of 305 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 363 Nm (268 lb-ft), mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. The 2012 Dodge Challenger Rallye Redline has a starting price of 28,745 USD, including a $925 destination charge.
