A very special edition of the Dodge Charger SRT8 has been announced by the American based automaker, which will be named the Super Bee Edition and it will be launched at the upcoming 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show, being based on the 1968 Dodge “Scat Pack”, with two paintjobs available and some interesting new features.
According to the American based automaker, the Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee Edition is based on the 1968 original Dodge “Scat Pack” and underneath all of that metal there is a standard SRT8. The Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee Edition will be available with only two paintjobs, Pitch Black and Stinger Yellow, both of them getting contrasting graphics.
The yellow vehicle in this image comes with satin black graphics on the hood and boot lid, while the black version has charcoal gray graphics in the same places. The Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee Edition is getting some Z-stripe cloth performance seats with yellow and silver striping, along with some Bee graphics for the exterior and a new fresh set of 20 inch wheels.
The special edition of the Charger SRT8 is still powered by the same engine which is developing 470 HP. The 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee Edition will be officially unveiled during the next week’s Los Angeles Auto Show and the model will go on sale early next year.
