YES ! There will be a new 2012 Dodge Viper after all.
A report from Autoblog says Sergio Marchionne showed the 2012 Viper at a dealer meeting this week. According to autoblog sources, the design was all new, complete with an aggressive greenhouse and fresh, angular sheetmetal.
Chrysler has announced already that the 2012 Dodge Viper will be premiered in about two years. According to some rumors, the same 8.4-liter V10 could carry on, possibly with the inclusion of Fiat’s MultiAir technology to reduce emissions and boost output over 700 horsepower.
Chrysler will introduce 17 new or redesigned models over the next two years.
For 2012 other production vehicles include the redesigned Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger full-sized sedans, the revamped versions of the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Caravan minivans, the Jeep Patriot and the Dodge Avenger.
