2012 F80 BMW M3 renders again image

After seeing some official images and videos from the new BMW 3-Series presentation on Friday, the most expected version of the D-segment sedan, the M3, has been rendered, and even if we don’t exactly know anything about the vehicle, the images in the photo gallery might just be what everyone is expecting.

Thanks to the F30post.com, we now have more details about the new generation of the M3, the most expected version of the 3-Series which has just been presented by the German based automaker, and from what we can see in the images, the F80 M3 will keep most of its lines but its aggressive front and rear fascia will make it stand out from the crowd, along with its engine.

And speaking of the engine, the new generation of the BMW M3 is expected to be powered by a V6 turbocharged engine, but the most powerful version of the 2012 3-Series might actually get the same unit as its bigger brother, the M5, which comes with a 4.4 liter V8 developing 560 HP and 502 lb-ft of torque.

If the new generation of the M3 will be powered by a turbocharged V6 engine, its maximum power may be around 450 horsepower, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing because the vehicle is expected to be lighter than the previous generation.
