The Italian based automaker Fiat has recently announced the official starting price for the 2012 500 Abarth model in the United States, which has been set at 22.000 USD.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth will go on sale later this year and prices for the pocket rocket will start at 22.000 USD, not including the destination charge. Future customers of the 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth will get features like the Bose premium audio system with steering wheel mounted audio controls or the Blue&Me Handsfree Communication system, as standard.
“The Fiat 500 Abarth feels like a double show of espresso straight to your veins. With its wicked attitude, it will reward adrenaline fans who no longer need to pay six figures to feel the rush of true Italian performance”, said the head of Fiat brand for North America, Chrysler Group LLC, Tim Kuniskis.
The 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth is powered by the 1.4 liter MultiAir turbo engine which is developing a total output of 160 horsepower and has a peak torque of 170 lb-ft. The “new” Fiat 500 Abart is also coming with the Abarth tuned suspension, brake systems, dual exhaust, turbo boost gauge with integrated LED shift light and the 16 inch aluminum rims.
