The 2012 model year of the Fiat 500 Abarth is finally here and the Italian based automaker has announced its starting price in the United States, which has been set at 22.700 USD.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth starts at 22.700 USD including destination charge in the United States, and the model is actually 4.700 USD more than the 500 Sport’s base price, set at 18.000 USD. The new 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth might have some serious competition on the over-seas market and the hot hatch is expected to go against the Mini Cooper, the Volkswagen GTI and the upcoming Hyundai Veloster Turbo.
Abarth says that the 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth is now coming with 59 more horsepower and 72 lb-ft of torque more, along with the countless scorpion badges, the tuned dual exhaust system and the Abarth tuned suspension system. The hot hatch is also getting the 16 inch alloy wheels, a turbocharger boost gauge with LED shift light, the Fiat Blue&Me Bluetooth connectivity, the Bose stereo with steering wheel audio controls and the racing harness pass through.
The 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth’s starting price of 22.700 USD includes, besides the destination charge, a one-day driving school lesson and the course has a full day of instruction by professionals from the Richar Petty Driving Experience.
