The Italian based automaker Fiat has recently announced the starting price of the 2012 Punto model in the United Kingdom, which has been set at 9.999 GBP.
According to the car manufacturer, the entry-level version of the 2012 Fiat Punto is coming with the 1.2 liter eight-valve engine, and it’s using the Pop equipment level. The top of the line 2012 Punto is equipped with the 1.3 liter Multijet diesel engine and it has a starting price of 15.600 GBP. The upper trim level of the 2012 Fiat Punto is offering features like the electric sunroof, ambient interior lighting, cruise control, seven airbags, automatic dual zone climate control, leather steering wheel and front fog lamps, all as standard.
Fiat says that the 2012 Punto model has gained two new engines, the 85 horsepower TwinAir, acclaimed “Engine of the Year”, and the 85 horsepower version of the diesel MultiJet. For the first time, the Punto will be available with the two-cylinder TwinAir engine, which is shared with the 500, and it’s developing 85 horsepower while emitting 95 g/km of CO2. A new trim level has been added to the model, the GBT, which is packing side skirts, a rear spoiler and a sports suspension. The updated 2012 Fiat Punto is already available for order.
