Kia Motors America has recently launched a unique version of the Soul, named the Red Rock Special Edition, in the United States, at a starting price of $20,600.
According to the South Korean based automaker, the Kia Soul Red Rock Special Edition is inspired by the “beautiful rock formations found in the Southwest United States”. The 2012 Kia Soul Red Rock Special Edition is coming with a distinctive exterior design and even if the model isn’t that bright, we must admit that this version is quite attractive.
“The wildly popular Soul has been a game-changer for Kia since it arrived in 2009, and our series of special editions over the past three years have added individualism and exclusivity to an already fun and youthful vehicle. Style and flair are key to Soul’s success, and the Red Rock Special Edition, which has plenty of both, will help drive sales into 2012”, said the company’s vice president of marketing and communications, Michael Sprague.
Kia says that the 2012 Soul Red Rock Special Edition is still powered by the same 1.6 liter GDI engine, which allows the model to achieve an average of 35 mpg on the highway. The starting price of the vehicle has been set at $20,600.
