Finally, we have the first interior images of the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class, which will be unveiled next month at the Geneva Motor Show.
The interior shots were released today as Mercedes announced its new iPhone-integrated media system.
The new A-class is intended to bring a younger audience to the Mercedes brand and so the German maker “wants to make it more sporty and desirable” than the older model, so is keen to offer it in sports-oriented variants.
Under the hood, the new generation of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class will most like come with the same engines as its larger brother, so five petrol units, with outputs between 108 HP and 201 HP, and four diesels, ranging from 120 HP and 201 HP.
In addition, the German automaker will bring in an 250bhp front-wheel drive AMG-badged performance A-class later this year, with a launch planned at the Paris motor show in September.
