2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series is sold out image

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series has been sold out and all of the 800 units have found new owners.

Less than a year after being officially presented to the public during the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show in September, all units of the powerful 2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series have been sold out. According to the German based automaker, the initial production was announced for 650 units, but due to high demands of the vehicle, the number has been pushed up to 800 and it seems that these weren’t enough either. If you wonder how much is the C63 AMG Black Series you can wonder more because we won’t even go there for two good reasons: first the model has been sold out and second, even if you find one for sale, you will probably pay more.

As a quick reminder, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz AMG Black Series is powered by the impressive 6.3 liter V8 M156 engine, developed by AMG, which is developing a total output of 517 horsepower at 6,800 rpm and it has a peak torque of 620 Nm (457 lb-ft), available at 5,000 rpm. AMG says that the 196 pounds engine is mated to a seven-speed Speedshift MCT sport automatic transmission and changing gear in Sport+ and Manual modes takes just one tenth of a second.
