2012 Mosler Raptor Planned Against Pagani Huayra – Weight Factor image

Despite the powerpack performances with glory of the supercars, there is one more company trying to get into reign of the kings and so has recently released its first information about its latest and greatest supercar named Mosler Raptor.

In the list of smaller firms such as Pagani, Spykar, Koenigsegg, and Gumbert, Mosler is next to prove itself competent of challenging others in the line. It has recently launched a $394,000 Photon supercar that hide beneath its hood a 7.0 liter V8 engine which is wider as compared to the Toyota 4Runner. It is also a bit longer as compared to a Camry, yet managed to become lighter than a current Mazda Miata.

While flaunting the 2012 Mosler Raptor in a press conference, J. Todd Wagner, the Director of Engineering for the small American firm has said that this car is built against the Pagani Huayra, which indicates a direct challenge to Pagani.

Besides what Wagner has said, it becomes more crucial to know about the specs of this new car. Accordingly, the Mosler Raptor will receive a twin Garrett turbochargers, as said by Wagner. This will help the engine to push out around 650 horsepower. Since, the major focus of this car is on its weight, we should know where it exactly stands at and the weigh is almost 2,500 lbs, 476 lbs lighter as compared to the Pagani Huayra.

At the conference, Wagner has announced to wait until we see the 2012 Raptor which is going to blow everyone’s mind. So lets just wait and watch until Raptor emerges!
