Nissan has recently announced that the 2012 NV passenger van has a starting price of 32,685 USD in the United States.
According to the Japanese based automaker, the 2012 Nissan NV will be available to its future customers in five trim levels and the most affordable version will start at 32,685 USD. The 2012 Nissan NV passenger van has a single configuration, the 3500-series but its future customers will be able to choose from two engines the 4.0 liter V6 unit, which is producing a total output of 261 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque, along with a more powerful 5.6 liter V8 engine, generating 317 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque. Nissan says that both units are mated to a five-speed automatic transmission which is “moving” the rear wheels.
The 2012 Nissan NV is available as the NVP 3500 S (4.0 V6 – $32,685), the NVP 3500 SV (4.0 V6 – $34,885), the NPV 3500 S (5.6 V8 – $33,585), the NVP 3500 SV (5.6 V8 – $35,785) and the NVP 3500 SL (5.6 V8 – $38,385), with the base S being equipped with rubber floor covering and fabric seats, while the SV is adding carpeted floor mats and leather. All versions will get air conditioning, reading lamps, cup holders sliding out from under the seats and side-curtain airbags for all rows of seats.
