Nissan has just announced the pricing of its newest SUV in the US line-up, the 2012 Rogue model, which starts at $21.530 for the Rogue S CVT FWD version, and it can go up to $29.120 for the Rogue SV CVT w/SL Package AWD.
According to the Japanese automaker, all the trim levels of the new Rogue are sharing the same engine, the 2.5 liter four-cylinder unit, delivering 170 horsepower, mated to the Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).
The 2012 Rogue will still be offered in two trims, the S and the SV, with three option packages, the Special Edition, the Premium Package and the SL Package, but what is interesting in some points is that all the Rogue variants come with six standard airbags and a 28 mpg fuel economy.
The Special Edition Package is priced at $1.200 and comes with AM/FM/CD audio system with a 4.3 inch color display and USB connectivity, XM Satellite Radio, rear view monitor and 16 inch aluminum alloy wheels, while with the SL Package a new exterior color will be available, Graphite Blue, along with new 17 inch rims.
