The North American based automaker Chrysler LLC has officially announced the starting price for the 2012 Ram 1500 Lone Star, which has been set at 38,935 USD.
According to the car manufacturer, the 10th anniversary edition of the Ram 1500 Lone Star is coming with larger “Lone Star” badges and the red, white and blue Texas state emblem onto its tailgate and front doors, but even if the model’s official starting price has been announced by the Chrysler LLC Group, the special edition of the Ram 1500 will go on sale at the end of the second quarter. The $38,935 price includes a $995 destination charge too.
“For the last 10 years, this truck has given us the authentic opportunity to proudly connect Ram with Texas’ very proud state motto. It’s by far our best-selling Ram truck in Texas”, said the president and CEO of Ram, Fred Diaz.
The 2012 Ram 1500 Lone Star is coming with 60/40 split-folding seats, steering wheel mounted audio controls, leather wrapped steering wheel, 115-volt auxiliary power outlet, fog lamps, halogen quad lamps, locking lug nuts and 20-inch aluminum wheels. Under the hood, the 2012 Ram 1500 Lone Star is coming with the 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine, which is developing a total output of 390 horsepower and it’s being mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
