The French based automaker Renault has recently launched the Clio RS Special Edition in Germany.
Even if the Renault Clio RS has been with us for quite some time, the car manufacturer felt the need to place it into the spotlights one more time, by launching a special edition of the hot hatch in Germany. According to the French based carmaker, the Renault Clio RS Special Edition is actually coming with some interesting changes compared to the standard version, but details have been kept aside and Renault has only announced that 99 units of the model will be made, and all of them will be powered by the same 2.0 standard engine, which is still developing a total output of 203 horsepower.
As a reminder, the Renault Clio RS is a hot hatch developed ever since 1999, being based on the Clio model. The Clio RS has a three-door body style and it’s 3.810 mm long, 1.810 mm wide and 1.410 mm high, with a total weight of 1.050 kg (2.315 lbs). The latest 2.0 liter naturally aspirated engine is developing a total output of 203 horsepower and allows the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds before hitting a top speed of 227 km/h (141 mph).
