The French based automaker Renault has just revealed the 2012 Renaultsport Megane 265 Cup and 265 models.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2012 Renaultsport Megane is actually a revised version of the hot hatch and the model is available with three new options, the Red Design Pack, which is adding red striping to the vehicle’s lower front, lower rear and side skirts for 350 GBP, the company’s Visio lane departure warning system for 300 GBP and front and rear parking sensors with a parking camera for 360 GBP. For the 265, the Renaultsport Cup chassis pack is also available, for an extra 1,350 GBP, bringing features like the limited slip differential, stiffer springs, red brake calipers, dampers and anti-roll bars and large 18 inch alloy wheels, finished in matte black and wrapped in 235/40 Michelin Sport 2 tires.
The Renaultsport Megane 265 Cup’s interior is carbon grey with the specific cloth, red seatbelts and red stitching and the model is also available in a new color, named the Arctic White. The model’s turbo boost pressure has increased by 0.2 bar to a total of 2.5 bar and this means that the total output went up by 15 HP and 15 lb-ft of torque to a total of 261 HP and 266 lb-ft. The model can now accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 6.0 seconds (6.1 sec previously) and the top speed has increased by 2 mph to 158 mph.
