Swedish automaker Saab has released additional pricing details on its 2012 9-4X crossover, which debuted at the 2010 LA Auto Show earlier this year. The 2012 Saab 9-4Xcrossover will be priced from $34,205 (including destination).
That price nets buyers a base 9-4x model, which is fitted with front wheel drive, along with a 265-horsepower, direct-injection 3.0-liter V-6. Standard 9-4x models will come with 18-inch aluminum wheels, leatherette seat trim, keyless go, Bluetooth and a seven-speaker audio system with a USB input.
The 9-4X Premium starts at $38,075 and retains the same engine while adding all-wheel drive.
The 9-4X Aero will top the range with a 2.8-liter, 300-hp turbocharged V6. That will be loaded up with all the goods (20-inch turbine wheels, adaptive bi-xenon headlamps, adaptive damper system ) and will cost $48,835, quite a premium over the other models.
The Saab 9-4X five passenger crossover will be available spring 2011 and sent to Saab dealerships across the country. Stacey Hodges added, “We’re excited about the new 9-4x crossover from Saab. It should appeal to the independently-minded crossover buyers who are looking for a fresh, alternative choice.”
