Suzuki has recently announced the official price for its 2012 Swift Sport in the UK, where the model will start at 13.500 GBP.
After the Japanese based automaker revealed its three-door Swift Sport earlier this year, it’s now time for the model to hit the United Kingdom and Suzuki has recently announced its official price for the country. Suzuki says that for 13.500 GBP, future customers of the three-door 2012 Swift Sport will get the same 1.6 liter VVT engine as the old generation which is now developing a total output of 136 horsepower and has a peak torque of 160 Nm. The unit is mated to a five-speed manual transmission and the model can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 8.7 seconds before hitting a top speed of 121 mph.
Besides the “old” 1.6 liter VVT engine, future British customers of the new 2012 three-door Suzuki Swift Sport will also get some standard features like air conditioning, push button engine ignition, fog lamps, HID projector lamps, cruise control and Bluetooth connectivity. Suzuki didn’t say anything about the other transmission, the six-speed manual, but this might come for the upper levels of the vehicle, along with seven airbags, including curtain and driver’s knee, and ESP.
