Some of the most amazing concept vehicles that were on display this year around the world. Now the 2012 auto show season is over, we’ve picked our favorite five concept cars from this year.

Lamborghini Aventador J
According to the automaker, the Lamborghini Aventador J Speedster is the most uncompromising super sports car ever made by the brand, with the model not having any windscreen and being able to achieve speeds of more than 300 km/h (186 mph).

McLanren P1
The McLaren P1 is the official successor of the iconic F1 and the supercar will be placed above the MP4-12C and the 12C Spyder in terms of both performance and price, but even so, the model will get the same engine as its brothers mentioned above, the 3.8 liter turbo, which should produce an extra 120 HP.

Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo
Clearly, this is the Panamera that Porsche wanted to build all along because, well, just look at it. Porsche says that the model in question has been designed in order to preview the company’s future styling language and the vehicle is both practical and attractive.

Bentley EXP 9 F
The Bentley EXP 9 F concept was unveiled earlier this year at the Geneva motor show and its expected price is £150,000.
According to the manufacturer, the EXP 9 F’s design characteristics have been inspired by the Blower Bentleys from the late 1920s, but the Bentley SUV is acutally a fusion of crafted luxury and advanced in-car technology, with a 6.0 liter twin turbo W12 engine, which is mated to an eight-speed transmission.

Peugeot ONYX
According to the company, the Peugeot Onyx Concept is a supercar for the 21st century and it’s coming with carbon fiber body panels, handrafted copper doors and more.
Power to the Onyx Concept is provided by a mid-mounted 3.7 liter V8 HDi FAP engine, which is producing a total output of 600 HP (441 kW), along with an electric motor generating 80 HP (59 kW). The hybrid powertrain is mated to a six-speed sequential transmission.
