The 2012 Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid is considered to be the third fastest selling car in the U.S.
U.S. car sales data for March and April shows that the model stays around 5 days on the dealer lot before it is sold. In March Toyota Prius was considered the 2nd fastest selling car in the States and in April it came on the 3rd place after the 2013 BMW X3 and 2013 BMW X5.
Since the model went on sale at the end of February until the end of April, Toyota managed to sell 2,552 plug-in Prius models, becoming the leader of plug-in models’ sales in April. In April Toyota sold 1,654 Prius models and about 5 times more 2012 Mustangs. Even after pre-orders have been satisfied, demand for the 2012 Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid will still sell quickly and demand for it will be high. After several months from its launch demand for the model is still high and cars delivered to dealers are bought quickly by customers.
