The Japanese based automaker Toyota has recently announced the starting price for the 2012 Tacoma TRD T|X Baja Series, which has been set at 33, 800 USD.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2012 Toyota Tacoma TRD T|X Baja Series is available as an Access Cab and Double Cab, and the entry-level version, the Access Cab 4×4 V6 Baja Series, with the six-speed manual transmission, has a starting price of 33,800 USD, including the destination charge. Toyota says that the Baja Series Package is available on top of the TRD off-road package for the model and this includes the Active Traction Control, the electronically controlled locking rear differential, the Hill Start Assist and the Downhill Assist Control.
The 2012 T|X Baja Series Package is also getting an increased front height of two inches thanks to the zinc-plated Bilstein race shocks and the TRD coil springs, while in the rear, the model’s height increased by 1.5 inches. The Baja Series Package is getting a fresh set of 16-inch alloy wheels which have been wrapped in LT265/70 size off-road tires. The Toyota Tacoma Access Cab 4×4 V6 with an automatic transmission costs 34,785 USD and the Double Cab V6 with a manual transmission can be bought from 35,085 USD, while the version with the automatic gearbox has been priced at $36,065. The model is being made in San Antonio and it will arrive at the dealerships in May.
