Aston Martin has recently pulled the wraps off the updated version of the DB9 ahead of its official debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show on the 27th of September.
The high performance version of the DB9, the DBS, has received a replacement a few months ago in the form of the Vanquish and the DB9 is also getting ready to leave the production line. But before the British based automaker will pull the plug on the DB9, an updated version of the supercar has been revealed ahead of its official presentation on the 27th of September during the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2013 Aston Martin DB9 has been inspired by the Virage and the supercar is powered by a 5.9 liter engine which is now producing a total output of 510 BHP and 457 lb-ft of torque, compared to the previous 470 BHP and 442 lb-ft. The “new” DB9 can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 4.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 183 mph, 0.2 faster than before. New equipment for the 2013 DB9 includes the reversing camera, automatic windscreen wipers, leather headlining, DB9 logos for the seats or the 20-inch alloy wheels. More details on it will be announced in Paris this month.
