The new generation of the Audi A3 has been recently launched in the Netherlands, where the model has a starting price of 25, 650 euros for the entry-level version.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2013 Audi A3 will be available in only three versions in the Netherlands for start, as the 1.4 TFSI six-speed, priced at 25,650 euros, the 1.8 TFSI S tronic, which will cost 32,400 euros and the top of the line 2.0 TDI six-speed, priced at 30,250 euros. The 1.4 liter TFSI engine is developing 122 horsepower, the 1.8 liter TFSI is putting down 180 horsepower and the 2.0 liter diesel TDI unit is generating 150 horsepower and emitting just 106 g/km of CO2. The 2013 Audi A3 will start its deliveries in August.
As a small reminder, the new generation of the Audi A3 has been officially presented to the public last month at the Geneva Motor Show and the model is wearing the 2013 model year in its name. The new Audi A3 is the first vehicle to use the MQB platform (Modular Transverse Matrix) which will also underpin more future models like the future generation of the Volkswagen Golf. Audi says that the three-door version will be the first one to make its appearance and the model is 4,237 mm long, 1,777 mm wide and 1,421 mm tall, with a weight loss of 80 kg compared to its predecessor.
