Audi will bring its A3 Sportback and S3 hot hatch to this year’s Paris Motor Show in September.
The German based automaker Audi might try and keep the new A3 Sportback and the S3 into the shadows for the moment but that doesn’t mean that the company isn’t working intensely on the two models. According to the upcoming Audi A3 Sportback and the new Audi S3 will be officially presented to the public next month, during the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
Rumors are saying that the 2013 Audi A3 Sportback will get a longer platform with a longer wheelbase but the difference between the length of the regular three-door A3 and this version will only be 39 mm, which will be translated into more leg room for the rear passengers. The A3 Sportback will get two more doors and a third side window and the engine lineup is expected to be carried from the regular A3.
Besides the A3 Sportback, Audi will also bring the new generation of the Audi S3 to the same French automotive event which is a true Golf GTI (how weird is that) and Astra OPC killer, thanks to its 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which will generate a total output of 280 horsepower, allowing the hot hatch to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds. More details on the two new models will be announced next month in Paris.
