The German based automaker Audi has recently announced its plans to introduce the 2013 RS5 to India, in a coupe form.
The announcement has been made through the company’s Facebook page but the company didn’t say when the vehicle will become available for order on the Indian sub continent. The 2013 Audi RS5 which will arrive in the Asian country will hit the market in a coupe form. This is actually based on the A5 Coupe but it is slightly longer, wider and shorter than its less powerful brother. Keep in mind that the regular Audi A5 Coupe isn’t available for order in India.
As a quick reminder, the 2013 Audi RS5 Coupe is powered by the 4.2 liter FSI V8 naturally aspirated engine, which is producing a total output of 450 HP and it has a peak torque of 430 Nm. The unit is sending all the power to the Quattro all-wheel drive system through a 7-speed S Tronic automatic transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint is done in 4.6 seconds and top sped stands at 280 km/h. Additional details on the model aimed towards India, including its starting price, will be announced close to its launch.
