BMW has recently announced that the 2013 3-Series Sports Wagon will be launched in the United States, where the model will be limited to the base 328i.
According to the German based automaker, the 2013 BMW 3-Series Sports Wagon will be launched in the United States only as the 328i model and there is no official word just yet on whether or not the estate will be available as the 335i too. BMW says that the new 3-Series Sports Wagon will arrive on its over-seas auto market in early 2013 and more details about its standard / optional equipment and price will be announced close to its on-sale date.
The 2013 BMW 3-Series Sports Wagon will get, in the United States of America, an eight-speed automatic transmission as standard, but as an option, customers will be able to choose the eight-speed sports automatic transmission with steering wheel paddle shifters. The new 3-Series Sports Wagon will get, for the first time, a power tailgate, which can be operated from a button inside the cabin or by sticking a foot under the rear bumper. Three trim lines will be offered with the 3-Series Sports Wagon, the Sport Line, the Luxury Line and the Modern Line and the M Sport Package will also be available, which is adding an M Sport suspension and 18- or 19-inch M alloy wheels, along with the M Aerodynamics Package, with the chrome tailpipes, special body parts, special interior trim and exclusive exterior paint.
