The North American division of BMW has recently announced the starting price for the new 640i Gran Coupe, which has been set at $76, 895.
According to the German based automaker, the 2013 BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe will be offered in the United States in three versions, but before it will hit the North American auto market in summer, the model will make its official debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show next month, which will open its gates on the 6th of March.
The first model out of the three BMW Gran Coupe vehicles to arrive over-seas will be the 640i Gran Coupe, which will be powered by the N55 six-cylinder inline direct injected Valvetronic twin-scroll turbo engine, which will generate a total output of 315 BHP between 5,800 and 6,000 rpm and it will have a peak torque of 330 lb-ft available between 1,300 and 4,500 rpm. The engine will help the 640i Gran Coupe to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 5.4 seconds, before hitting a limited top speed of 155 mph.
More details on the 2013 BMW 640i Gran Coupe will be announced during the Geneva Motor show in March, where the model will make its official debut. The 640i Gran Coupe will also hit the Amelia Island 2012 Concours d’Elegance in March and the New York Auto Show in April.
