The 2013 Buick Regal can now be ordered by customers in the United States for a base starting price of 29, 015 USD, and the model is now getting standard eAssist.
According to the North American based automaker, the updated 2013 Buick Regal is now getting the eAssist system as standard, which is pairing a 2.4 liter four-cylinder engine, along with a small electric motor, powered by a 115-volt lithium ion battery. The engine is producing a total output of 182 horsepower (185 PS / 136 kW) and it has a peak torque of 172 lb-ft (233 Nm), while the electric motor is generating an extra 15 HP (15 PS / 11 kW) and 79 lb-ft of torque (107 Nm).
The eAssist system has been unveiled back in 2011 and it’s now available, along with the engine start/stop system, the electric motor boost function which is reducing engine load during accelerateion and the regenerative braking system, on the 2013 Buick Regal. Prices for the updated Regal have increased by 1,960 USD over the 2012 model year, and the vehicle is now available from 29,015 USD for the base entry-level version.
