The 2013 luxury sedan, Buick Verano Turbo will be launched in the auto market with a price tag of $29,990 which will also include $885 for destination charge.
This turbocharged car boasts under its hood an Ecotec 2.0 liter four cylinder direct injected engine along with continuously variable valve timing for producing 250 horsepower at 5300 rpm and 260 pound feet of torque at 2000 rpm. The car will come with an SAE certification to produce that much of power. The car will provide both fuel efficiency and power by covering a top acceleration of 0-60 mph in an estimated 6.2 seconds.
Besides, the EPA estimated fuel economy is rated at 20 mpg in city and 31 mpg on highway if it is driven with a 6-speed manual transmission. However, the fuel economy ratings of its standard 6-speed automatic transmission are yet to announce. You can expect it to be announced sometimes closer to the production.
As per the estimation, the Buick Verano Turbo has more capability to provide better power and fuel efficiency as compared to its rivals. The 2012 Lexus IS250 itself offers 204 horsepower and 19/28 mpg of fuel economy on manual transmission.
Despite the 2.0 liter turbo engine, the car includes sport pedals, dual exhaust, rear spoiler, and standard equipment such as Bose 9-speaker audio system, IntelliLink connectivity, push button start, leather appointed upholstery, radar-based side blind zone alert, rear park assist, rearview camera, heated front seats, rear cross traffic alert, and a heated steering wheel. The car also features navigation and power sunroof as an optional package.
Buick Verano enthusiasts will get rearview camera as standard on all the models in 2013. Three different models will be launched with turbocharged engines as well as 6-speed manual transmission as optional.
