The North American based automaker Cadillac has recently announced that the 2013 ATS has received a five-star rating from the NHTSA during the latest round of federal crash testing.
Good news for Cadillac ATS owners or for those of you who are looking into buying the new sedan because the model has recently received a five-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, during the latest round of federal crash testing. According to the car manufacturer, the 2013 Cadillac ATS has received the five stars in all federal crash test categories, which also includes the brutal front and side tests, including the rollover. The 2013 Cadillac ATS hasn’t been rated by the IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety). As a quick reminder, the Cadillac ATS is being offered with a choice of three engines, the 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbo with 270 HP and 260 lb-ft of torque, the 2.5 liter 4-cylinder with 200 HP and 188 lb-ft of torque and the 3.6 liter V6 with 318 HP And 267 lb-ft of torque.
