General Motors has recently announced that the 2013 Cadillac XTS luxury sedan will hit the over-seas dealerships in May.
After being officially presented to the public in late 2011, at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the new Cadillac XTS is closer to its future customers than ever. According to the car manufacturer, the new luxury sedan will hit the company’s dealerships in May and the model will have a starting price of 44,995 USD. The model will be packed with the automaker’s new infotainment system and it will get a series of premium or platinum optional packages.
“The all-new XTS redefines our approach to the luxury sedan by combining advanced technology, stunning design and confident performance. XTS brings new and exclusive technology, while still delivering the space and elegance that is Cadillac’s DNA”, said the company’s marketing VP, Don Butler.
The 2013 Cadillac XTS will only be available with a single engine, the 3.6 liter V6 unit which is developing a total output of 300 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 264 lb-ft. Power is being sent to the front-wheel drive in standard, but the all-wheel drive will also be available, but as an option. The model is returning 17/28 mpg in city/highway in the FWD and 17/27 mpg in the AWD.
