2013 Chevrolet Trailblazer teased – not coming to US

The American based automotive giant General Motors is proving once again that it can stand at the same table with its European rivals by launching a teaser image of the upcoming new generation of the 2013 Chevrolet Trailblazer.

According to the automaker, the new generation of the Chevy Trailblazer will be introduced early next year in Thailand but General Motors isn’t saying anything about the United States auto market and according to InsideLine.com, Chevrolet has no immediate plans to sell the midsize SUV locally.

“Chevrolet will introduce the all-new, 2013 Trailblazer midsize SUV in global markets, beginning in Thailand, in early 2012. Built on a new midsize platform developed by GM do Brasil, the Trailblazer will combine the hauling and towing capability of an SUV with the ride comfort and efficiency of a crossover. The new Trailblazer will be unveiled at Dubai International Motor Show, Nov 10 – 14”, as General Motors writes in the official press release.

Rumors are that the new generation of the Chevrolet Trailblazer will be built and sold in South America and Asia, with Thailand being the first country where the midsize SUV will be introduced. Sadly we don’t have any more details about the new Chevy Trailblazer but details should be announced next month when the vehicle will hit the Dubai International Motor Show.
