The North American based automotive giant General Motors has recently revealed the facelifted version of the Chevrolet Traverse, which will be officially presented to the public at the 2012 New York Auto Show on the 4th of April.
According to the car manufacturer, the Chevrolet Traverse facelift will wear the 2013 model year in its name and this means that the vehicle will go on sale later this year. As you can see from the images posted below this article, the 2013 Chevrolet Traverse has a redesigned front fascia with a front grille inspired by the Malibu, new headlights, revised taillights and a new liftgate.
The cabin in the facelifted Chevy Traverse hasn’t been left aside either by the automaker and it now has soft-touch plastics and silver / chrome accents, but the most important feature is definitely the MyLink infotainment system which can be equipped as an option. Under the hood, the 2013 Chevrolet Traverse is powered by a 3.6 liter V6 engine which is developing a total output of 288 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 270 lb-ft (366 Nm), mated to a six-speed automatic transmission powering the all-wheel drive system (optional). More details on the 2013 Traverse will be announced at the New York Auto Show.
