The North American based automaker Chrysler has recently announced its plans to introduce the new Town and Country S Edition to the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The Chrysler Group has big plans for this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show and after announcing models like the all-electric Fiat 500E or the 2013 Dodge Charger Daytona, the carmaker is now telling us that the 2013 Chrysler Town and Country S Edition will be officially presented to the public on the 28th of November, during the same L.A. Auto Show. Chrysler says that the new minivan is adopting an “S” styling and equipment package which is similar to the one found on the 300 series.
The 2013 Chrysler Town and Country S Edition is getting the new Blu-Ray DVD rear-seat entertainment system as standard, with USB ports and HDMI, unlike the sedan, and its starting price will be set at 32,990 USD, being positioned between the Touring L and the Limited models. The “S” treatment will be applied to the exterior too, where four colors will be available, white, red, black or silver, along with the black chrome grille, the smoked headlights or the dark 17-inch aluminum wheels. Power to the model will be provided by the 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 unit, producing 238 HP, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
