2013 Dodge Dart GT unveiled

The North American based automaker Dodge has unveiled the 2013 Dart GT, ahead of the model’s official debut during the 2013 Detroit Motor Show.

According to the car manufacturer, the 2013 Dodge Dart GT is based on the Dart Limited and the model is adding a sport tuned suspension, a Hyper Black front grille, a dual exhaust system and 18-inch aluminum wheels, which will help the model stand out in a crowd. Dodge says that interior changes are limited in the Dart GT and they include perforated Nappa leather seats, dual zone climate control, heated steering wheel, digital instrument cluster, 8.4-inch touch screen, Uconnect infotainment, heated seats and more.

The most significant part of the model can be found under its hood, where the 2013 Dodge Dart GT is getting the 2.4 liter Tigershark four-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 184 BHP (137 kW) and 236 Nm (174 lb-ft) of torque. The unit can be mated to a six-speed manual transmission or to an optional six-speed PowerTech automatic. The model will start from 20,995 USD and it will go on sale later on this year. Additional details on the 2013 Dodge Dart GT will be announced during the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, on the 14th of January.
