The North American based automotive giant Chrysler Group LLC has recently announced that the Dodge Dart is able to return an impressive fuel economy, of 41 mpg, with the Aero Package.
Even if the Environmental Protection Agency hasn’t released its evaluation of the Dodge Dart just yet, the car manufacturer has announced some impressive fuel economy figures for the model, especially when equipped with the Aero Package. According to the Chrysler Group, the Dodge Dart is returning 27 / 39 mpg in city / highway with the 1.4 liter four-cylinder engine and the manual transmission, but the most impressive figures are coming when the Aero Package is being installed, and the vehicle can return 41 mpg on the highway.
As a small reminder, the 2013 Dodge Dart has a starting price of 15,995 USD for the entry-level SE version, while the top of the line R/T will cost 22,495 USD. The cheapest version is getting the 2.0 liter 16-valve Tigershark I-4 engine, which is developing a total output of 160 HP and 148 lb-ft of torque. The unit can be mated to either a six-speed automatic transmission, as an option or a six-speed manual as standard. You can find out more about the Dodge Dart by clicking this link.
